1.0 Products - Intro

Here at Corinna's Essences we sell handmade, cruelty free, bath, body beauty, and personal care products from our Tongham beauty kitchen.

​

Our products are compliant with their own CPSR.

1.1 Purchasing Products

 

By confirming you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions, you are making an offer to purchase your selected product(s) in your basket.

When you place an order, it means the world to small businesses like mine. You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order, however this does not mean your order has been accepted. All orders are subject to acceptance.

 

A contract between us is formed only when we dispatch your order and send a dispatch confirmation email. This will contain your order reference number as well.

 

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion. These reasons can include, but are not limited to: 

• Product/ raw ingredient unavailability.

• Pricing errors.

• Suspected fraudulent activity.

• Under aged purchaser, without parental or guardian consent.

By placing an order with Corinna's Essences you confirm to be at least, 18 years of age or have parental or guardian consent.

1.2 Pricing and Accepted Payment Methods

​

All prices are shown in Great British Pounds Sterling (£) and are correct at the time of order, unless a clear error occurs. Payment may be made via accepted card or payment methods shown at checkout. Payment must be received in full before products are dispatched.

 

By ordering Corinna's  Essences products, you confirm that the payment method used belongs to you or that you have permission to use it. Card payments may be subject to validation checks and authorisation by your own card issuer.

 

Corinna's Essences reserves the right to refuse a transaction at their discretion.

 

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.

 

1.3 Chargebacks, Bank Disputes & Fraud Prevention.

If a customer initiates a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting Corinna's Essences to attempt resolution, Corinna's Essences may cancel current and future orders. A fixed administration fee of £30.00 will be applied to chargebacks in addition to any bank, platform, legal, or recovery fees incurred.

 

Where Corinna's Essences provides proof of delivery for a product order (including carrier tracking or delivery confirmation), this shall be conclusive evidence of fulfilment of order by Corinna's Essences.

 

Corinna's Essences reserves the right to recover all costs, damages, and losses resulting from chargebacks and to report suspected fraudulent activity to banks, payment providers, and relevant authorities.

1.4 Product Descriptions and Imagery

We make every effort to ensure to ensure our product listings are accurate. Including the product descriptions, images, colours, packaging and prices. However, minor variations may occur due to photography, batch variations or your devices' display settings. Such variations do not constitute a fault with our products.

1.5 Delivery

Orders will be delivered to the address provided at checkout. Delivery charges and estimated timescales are shown on the Delivery page. Delivery dates are estimates only. Risk passes to the customer once delivery is confirmed by the carrier. Corinna's Essences is not responsible for parcels once marked as delivered, including those left in safe places or with neighbours. International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, and customs charges.

Corinna's Essences shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform obligations caused by events beyond its reasonable control. This can include events such as supply chain disruption, illness, strikes, courier delays, technical failure or a regulatory change.

1.6 Liability
Corinna's Essences maximum liability in connection with any physical product supplied shall not exceed the purchase price of that product. Delivery (post and packaging costs) are not included in liability and are at the sole risk of the purchaser. Corinna's Essences takes on no liability if products are subject to negligence, misuse or fraud.

1.7 Regulatory Compliance

Corinna's Essences supplies products intended for lawful cosmetic, bath products, home-fragrance, or cleaning manufacture sale.  All products are sold in compliance with applicable laws, including any required Assessments, documentation, notifications, and maximum usage limits.

1.8 Selecting and Using Our Products

Please read all product instructions, ingredients, warnings, and usage information before use.

​

If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate medical advice if necessary.

 

Customers are solely responsible for checking ingredients of our products. Especially if the product is wished to be used for anyone who has known allergies, sensitivities or any other unsuitability reason. These checks must be completed before purchasing and using our products.
